Sifu Parichard Holm





Parichard Holm born in Thailand, grew up in Germany and started ballet dancing when she was 4 years old. Since an early age she has competed in top-level gymnastics and performed on stage. After she received her B.A. in Jewelery Design she became interested in the philosophy of Taoism and began studying the movement of Qigong in 1995.    
                                                       


In 1996 she became a certificated instructor of Tai Chi Qigong 18 movements and started to teach in Berlin the 24 Peking form, Yang Style. 
In 1999 she began practicing Grandmaster William C. C. Chen's (New York City) Tai Chi Chuan-Yang Style and has become a certified teacher "Sifu" in Tai Chi Chuan “Body Mechanics” in 2001 in Germany, and in 2004 in the US.

She has deepened her knowledge of Tai Chi Chuan and Pushing Hands (Toui-Shou) working with Rosa Chen (Taipei), Luis Molera (Germany),  Nils Klug (Germany), Nathan Managed (USA), Dr. Ping-Siang Tao (Taipei), Benjamin Lo (USA) and Maggie Newman (USA). Her teachers in Qigong and Wai Tan Kung were Peter Weinrich and Master Hong Thay Lee (Germany) and Master Mantak Chia (Thailand). 
She studied Pushing Hands - Wu Style with Master Yuanhua Yan, Los Angeles. Her principal teacher is Grandmaster William C.C.Chen.

Sifu Holm taught Tai Chi Chuan and Qigong classes since 1996 at sports studios, universities, medical rehabilitation and fitness centers as well as private corporations in Berlin Germany (1996 - 2002), Los Angeles (2002- 2010).  She taught Tai Chi and Qigong for a year in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. Since the end of 2011 Sifu Parichard Holm has been living and working in Berlin, Germany.

Sifu Holm has been certified to teach the 60 and 128 movement Yang Style     Tai Chi Chuan forms and their self-defense applications, as well as sword form, form refinement, and Pushing Hands. She is also certified to train Tai Chi teacher in Grandmaster William C.C.Chen's Yang Style, 60 movements.
Sifu Holm’s qualifications in Qigong empower her to teach the 18 movements of Tai Chi Qigong, Wai Tan Kung. She teaches Dao-In, and Taoist Eight Treasures, Cosmic Healing among others. As a practitioner of the Tao, she holds a degree in Feng Shui and Chinese Astrology and she is currently studying elements of Traditional Chinese Medicine. She is a certified instructor for Tai Chi for Arthritis Level I & Level II, Sun Style, by Dr. Paul Lam and the Arthritis Foundation since 2011.

Grandmaster William C.C. Chen, New York, New York
Grandmaster William C.C.Chen started teaching in the 1950’s when he was a live- in student of the famous Great-Grandmaster Cheng Man-Ching who preferred to be called Professor Cheng. He was involved competitively in the various free-style, Chinese Wushu. In 1958, he won the second place in the Taiwan national Olympic Competition. Master Chen is considered one of the world’s leading martial arts technicians. Inside Kung Fu Magazine recognized Master Chen as one of the Top most influential Chinese Martial Artists; because he has shown the world that the principles of Tai Chi Chuan can be used as an effective fighting art.
